Welcome to the Norfolk RFU website

The RFU represents personnel working the Retained Duty System (RDS) in Norfolk and across the UK.

Norfolk RFU gained 'Full Collective Bargaining Rights' in September 2005 which allowed the organisation to negotiate and be consulted on all local conditions of service matters relating to the RDS in Norfolk. We are a modern, moderate, non-militant solution providing organisation representing its members across the county.

The union has a no-strike constitution, no political affiliation and no conflicts of interest, we are simply here to ensure the best terms and conditions for our members that compliments the efficient and cost effective fire cover provided to our local communities.

We believe in the 'power of argument' rather than the 'argument of power' and to empower our membership to make decisions on their own future within the RDS in Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service.

If you have the same values as we do and want to have a say on your future in Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service why not join?

Don't leave it too late!
